Hola, siento robaros un poco de vuestro tiempo con un mensaje de índole personal, pero creo que esto os incumbe. Estoy teniendo bastantes dificultades para actualizar el blog, y se debe, principalmente, a que no me queda otra que subir los discos mediante ordenadores prestados.
Me he mudado recientemente y no tengo internet. He de compartir la conexión con otra persona, pero no sé bien cómo configurar una red local. Así que lo que necesito es alguien que conozca del tema y me eche un cable con este embrollo... gracias por anticipado.
Lo que tengo es un router Comtrend CT-536, el cual está conectado a un switch, y de éste se conectan los dos ordenadores. El que estaba aquí antes de que yo llegara (el "original", digamos) va perfectamente. El mío, en cambio, no. Lo configuré de manera que coja una IP automáticamente (como el "original"), pero le doy a IPCONFIG en el DOS y no me sale ningún parámetro. La tarjeta ethernet me detecta el cable de datos, conectado al switch.
A cualquiera que pueda ayudar, le agradeceré eternamente. Como "recompensa", recibirá mi lista completa de discos y barra libre para hacer pedidos. Un saludo.

Hi there - first off, sorry for stealing some of your time with a message of personal nature... but I think this should be of your interest. It is becoming increasingly hard for me to update this, since I have no other way to do it but by borrowing other people's PC's.
I've just moved to a new, shared flat. I must share the internet connection with someone else, but I just don't know how to configure this. So what I need is someone with enough knowledge to help me about it... thanks in advance.
What I have right now is a Comtrend CT-536 router, which is connected to a switch. The two PC's at home are connected to it. The one here before I moved in, does work perfectly. Call it "the first one" if you will. However, mine doesn't. I configured it so that it could pick an IP automatically (just like the "first one" does), then I use the IPCONFIG thing and it shows no criteria at all. My ethernet card detects the cable conected to the switch, though.
